FAIRIES PIXIES AND ELVES
Fairies are small supernatural creatures of human form. Fairies are so common in mythical cultures that its natural to wonder where they came from. Legend says that if you pick a four-leaf clover and lie quietly in a field, you will soon be visited by dancing fairies.
You can also look for a stone with a naturally hole coursed by running water, just look down the hole and you will see fairies.
Fairies are said to appear most frequently on May Eve when they fight, Midsummer Eve when they celebrate and November Eve when they dance with ghosts and mourn the coming of water.
Elves as the longest lived species known in the World, they hold a special place in the mind’s eye and the land. Though reclusive and particularly stingy with giving out information about themselves, it is quite commonly known that elves have some relation to fairies and other magical creatures, though exactly what the link is remains unknown.
The long life of an elf makes them careful, for they have much to lose by making an inconsiderate choice, and much time to consider things to avoid doing so. Elves are known for a natural empathy with magic, but this may be related more to the long years they have to study their chosen art than a true talent.
Pixies are tiny magical creatures born into being, they are fanciful creatures with no real purpose, and their history is one first and foremost of peace and quiet. Pixies spend most of their time studying magic. They enjoy a good life of leisure and comfort in the forests.
Pixies also have wings that are iridescent, often casting beautiful colours about, reflecting the light, as they hover. With wings they naturally can fly. They also have the natural ability to turn invisible. Due to their small size, pixies are incredibly deft and can move very quickly.
